ALIENATION OF AFFLECK-TION

Predictably, the double whammy of Ben Affleck's being chosen as People's Sexiest Man of the Year and his marriage to Jennifer Lopez has caused a torrent of snide remarks from the media. Here are two of my favorites:

"Jennifer Lopez announced that she's engaged to Ben Affleck. This will be the third marriage for Lopez, the first for Affleck, and the last for neither." - Tina Fey, on SNL
