Just looked out the back door. Typical early February day, bright and cold. It's trying to snow, and the tiny flakes are catching the sunlight so it looks like it's raining streaks of pure white light.

I hate this cold snap we've been enduring, but every now and then something like this happens to make it somehow joyful. And I feel a little sorry for all those people in the world who will never see snow.
