I'll jumble for ya

Behold Daddy's favourite playtime toy: Jumbles!

A Christmas present from doting Auntie Cathy, these ingenious building blocks are sure to send babygirl's IQ skyrocketing.

How do I love them? Let me count the ways:
  1. Each Jumble piece is a world of fun unto itself. They're made of a durable rubbery plastic that's perfect for grasping with chubby little hands, chewing with budding baby teeth, or learning the laundry list of conceptual and motor skills listed on the side of the box. Plus, they make some truly crazy bounces when you drop them on a hardwood floor.
  2. The way the pieces fit together is a thing of ball-in-socket beauty. Stick two of them together and you've got something that looks like the International Space Station. Stick all 12 of them together and you've got a 3D model of a polypropylene molecule.
  3. The cool applications just keep coming the more you play with them. It was only this week that I discovered you can spin each piece like a top. Yesterday I got three going at the same time for about 10 seconds. Man, what is it about a spinning top that can get a seven-month-old baby and a 40-year-old daddy to stare open-mouthed like two does in the headlights?
