Feels good even for fake money

I just won a nine-player Texas Hold 'Em tournament with a $5000 buy-in. The first-place finish paid me just over $22,000.

Too bad it was on Facebook, where the chips are as fake as the friends and the competition is generally weak. But it's worth at least some bragging rights: I'm now ranked 24th in the Edmonton network, good enough to get my smiling face on the leaderboard.

One of the guys I beat is ranked fourth.
