Poker? I don't even know her

I played in my first actual poker tournament last Thursday. Very intimidated at first—I'd never played in a casino before this—but after I took down my first big pot, I relaxed and settled into my game. Ended up finishing fourth out of the 29 players entered. Just out of the money, but high enough for me; I was just trying to make the final table.

The guy who finally knocked me out didn't even realize he had a straight to my pair of sevens. Sheesh.
