BUS PEOPLE 3 - GWYNETH

She's sitting at the front, reading a book with a black cover. I wonder what she's reading. I figure it's either a Bible or one of the Lord of the Rings books. Everyone on the bus is reading Tolkien these days. Only the weird ones read the Bible. She's wearing jeans and a ski jacket in three colors: light blue, medium blue, and dark blue. The jeans look brand new. Her hair is blonde and curly, pinned back with a little silver clip. A couple of stray strands dangle in front of her eyes as she reads. She's pretty enough, with a fair, delicate complexion that reminds me a little of Gwyneth Paltrow. On her right hand she wears a girlish silver ring. I'd put her at eighteen or nineteen. There's a red string bookmark in the book, dangling just like the loose strands of her hair. I forget about her for a while, but just before she gets off I catch a glimpse of the book's cover: The Two Towers.
